hello strangers...

Okay, so I have been seriously neglecting my blog, and all of my blogger buddies, and for that I am sorry. The truth is, there has been a lot going on in my life, both externally and internally.

School is great, extremly demanding, but I am loving every minute of being a full time student. Summer A has come to a close. I ended up with a 93% in my social psychology class, and I expect a much higher A in my Law and Society class, but I won't get my grade until Moday night... When I turned in my final in my law class, the teacher asked me if I would be interested in being her TA (teachers assistant) for the fall semester (for the class I just took). I have never come across an undergrad TA, but she assured me she could infact pick an undergrad. I will be attending the classes with her, and sometimes helping with lecture. I will have office hours for students to come and ask me questions, and I will help grade. You have no idea how good this will look on my graduate application! I am honored that she thinks that I have a strong enough concept of the materials she taught to help her with this class in the fall. This professor has her Ph.D. in forensic psychology, and is 26 years old, and published. It is a wonderful opportunity for me.

Things in the lab are going well too. It will continue on through summer B, when I will begin my next two classes.

hmmmm.... where to start with the rest. Well I guess you could say world war III has just broken out in my family, and I am caught in the middle. I hate being the middle man.

As far as me personally, I am okay, just been doing a lot of thinking lately. If I continue to pursue my goal to earn my Ph.D. in forensic psychology, I will have to move, and maybe even leave Florida. It is a scary thought. I am a determined person though, and I am not giving up my dream. I will figure out something, I am sure of it.

I think I am what you would call an emotionally guarded person, I don't trust easily, and I am very picky with who I let close to me. I don't have a problem meeting people, I just have a problem letting them in. Not just potential boyfriends either... everyone. Anyways... I still have a lot of sorting through to do...

Oh, did I mention I chopped off all my hair? Donated 18.5 inches to locks of love. It is a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer. I still think my hair is really cute, and as soon as I take some pictures I will post them.

I am working part time for the Fire Department agian. The Fire Chief missed me! lol...

Well, I just thought I would drop in and let everyone know I am still alive and kicking.

having to move can be okay...you know you've encountered a lot of people to leave and move on, and it has surely been a good thing.

Oh how I'd love for the opportunity to move and live in some very different places.

It's so good to have you back, you have been missed. I too don't mind moving, you can always move back if you don't like it!

Congratulations on all your high grades :) I want to study Psychology at university and specialise at clinical pyschology.

I also find it hard to trust and let people in and I am only 17, I guess some people are just like that. Something with having your trust abused usually plays a part in it.

That was also really nice of you to donate your hair like that! I can't wait to see the pictures.
